Stencil Art Workshop with Korp

  • The Undercroft Serpentine Green Shopping Centre Peterborough (map)

Stencil art has quickly become a major player in the street art scene thanks to the likes of Banksy and Shephard Fairey who have popularised the technique, but what really makes stencil art standout from other forms of street art is how quick, easy and accessible it is. In this workshop you will learn stencil basics and get the chance to design, cut and spray your own stencil art with the help of Peterborough based stencil artist Korp.

This is a beginner workshop aimed at those who have never stencilled before or are new to the technique.

  • Find out the history of stencil art through to the street art pioneers and current practitioners.

  • Maintain artistic integrity by avoiding computers and hand drawing your own images.

  • Get hands on by cutting and spraying your own stencil which you can take home with you.

Pre-cut and pre-drawn stencils will be available on the day however if you are feeling ambitious you can bring your own A4 images to be converted into stencils.
