Radio Making Taster Day

Join Hunt & Darton for a whistle-stop tour of the world of radio presenting. This FREE one day workshop will get your fingers on the buttons and your voice on the airwaves, introducing you to the key skills involved in hosting a show on the radio. Suitable for anyone aged 12+.

What to Expect
During the day you will have a chance to conduct interviews, compose jingles, brush up on your banter - and bring everything together for your own bespoke broadcast. Hunt & Darton will introduce you to equipment, techniques, and a provide fun and friendly atmosphere for the day!

If you catch the broadcasting bug at the workshop, there is more for you to get involved in later this month! There’s even an opportunity to have your vocal stylings included as part of Hunt & Darton’s live show, Radio Local on Saturday 26th October from 8am-8pm in front of Guildhall, Church sq, which will be transmitted over Salaam Radio. We'll provide more details about this opportunity during the Taster Day.

About Hunt & Darton
Hunt & Darton are a decade-long Live Art collaboration between Jenny Hunt and Holly Darton. They are self-taught Radio Presenters within their Radio Local project - making a brand new hyper-local radio station, with locals, for locals.
This workshop is supported by Peterborough Presents and Arts Council England.
