The Millfield Link

See the much loved Link Road mural restored and uncover stories of Millfield from residents past and present over the last 40 years.

The Millfield Link will see residents, both past and present, recording and sharing their experiences of living and working in the Millfield area over the past 40 years. The project will culminate in April 2020 with a community created exhibition that will showcase the story of this unique part of the city.

The photos above were taken by Chris Porsz in the Millfield area. It’s fascinating to see how the place and people have changed over 40 years! At the heart of the project is the much loved Link Road mural (pictured above), and as part of the project we will be working with local artists to see it restored.

Did you used to live in Millfield? Are you still there now? If you’d like to share your stories with us to be part of the project, please get in touch by emailing josie.stone@vivacity.org / katy.hawkins@vivacity.org or call 01733 864529.
