Millfield Festival 2017
Our first Millfield Arts Festival in 2017 was designed to bring together the whole community. We spoke with the Community Connectors, PARCA, Gladstone Connect, All Saints Church, and Peterborough City Councillors for Park Ward.
The programme catered for a wide range of people, with Peterborough Dhol Group and a Qawwali band performing alongside local musicians, plus interactive arts and craft stalls. Celebrity chef Damian Wawrzyniak was on site serving Grochowka, a Polish Navy Soup. The festival finale, a fiery spectacle produced by External Combustion, brought the wow factor with a pyrotechnic performance unlike anything seen in that area before. The weather was glorious, and over the day thousands of people from the area joined us for some great art in the sun. Check out our photo gallery below to get a feel of the festivities!
